Your privacy is incredibly important to us. AniTracker is designed with privacy-first principles to ensure your otaku tracking experience remains secure and transparent.

1. Data We Collect

AniTracker collects minimal data required to deliver core features:

  • Discord IDs: User IDs and Guild (Server) IDs to store personal favorites, alert preferences, and setup channels.
  • Tracking Preferences: Anime/Manga titles added to your tracking list for notification routing.
  • Server Configurations: Selected announcement channels, notification roles, and timezone settings.

2. Data We DO NOT Collect

We respect your private conversations. AniTracker does not read, store, or log personal chat messages, voice chat logs, personal IP addresses, or sensitive account info.

3. How We Use Your Data

Stored IDs and preferences are used solely for:

  • Sending DM notifications when new episodes/chapters release for your tracked titles.
  • Posting episode announcements to configured channels in your server.
  • Displaying your personalized lists when running commands like /myfavorites.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Your saved data remains in our secure database for as long as you use the bot. If you wish to remove your stored data completely, you can delete your favorites list via commands or request a full data wipe by contacting support on Discord.

5. Privacy Updates

We may update this policy periodically to reflect new features or regulations. Continued usage of AniTracker constitutes acceptance of these updates.
